Interiors - Setup & Procedures

  • Large furniture is moved into the centre of the room
  • Furniture is covered with plastic sheeting
  • Floors are covered with dust sheets
  • Holes and cracks in walls are filled
  • Gaps in skirting's and door frames are caulked
  • Stains, such as water marks, are sealed
  • Sugar soaping is done where necessary
  • Any bare timbers knotting applied and areas primed
  • Paint is applied by brush and roller
  • Ceiling and walls number of coats as per quote applied ( unless more needed )
  • Woodwork undercoat and finish coat applied
  • Furniture is moved back to original Positions
  • Floors and carpets are thoroughly vacuumed and swept
  • All rubbish is removed
  • Touch-up paint is left with the customer
Exteriors - Setup & Procedures
  • Safety signs put up
  • All loose paint is scraped off
  • Timber windows sanded down
  • Feather-sanding and stripping done on request
  • Areas around doors and windows are caulked; window panes receive new putty where necessary if being painted
  • Apply appropriate paint and number of coats as discussed in quotation
  • All non-painted surfaces are covered to protect against splatter & drips
  • Touch-up paint is left with the client
  • Performed daily and upon completion of the job
  • All rubbish is removed
  • Paint is applied with a brush & roller
